In the ParshipMeet Group, we operate a high-quality real-time video platform and streaming systems on AWS. Your task as a Site Reliability Engineer is to keep these systems fast, stable and scalable, working with our mostly US-based colleagues in Backend, Infrastructure and Video to deliver reliable live experiences with low latency for thousands of users daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve streaming systems on AWS (primarily ECS) to ensure low latency and high availability.
• Collaborate with Backend, Infrastructure and Video teams to maintain scalable, reliable live-video infrastructure.
• Implement automation and tooling to simplify deployments, monitoring and failover processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation after a thorough onboarding.
• Contribute to postmortems and to the definition and improvement of SLAs and SLOs.
• Engage in close collaboration with Backend- and Video-Engineering teams to build scalable, fault-tolerant systems.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience operating latency-sensitive and high-traffic production systems; ideally in video or streaming.
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure (ECS, CloudFormation/CDK, Terraform).
• Excellent scripting and automation skills with Bash, Python or TypeScript.
• Practical experience with Docker and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Good understanding of RabbitMQ, Redis, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Java and Node.js software stacks.
• Deep knowledge of GitHub Actions, CDK and TypeScript is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Sentry).
• Understanding of CDN architectures and edge delivery.
• Knowledge of streaming protocols (RTMP, HLS, WebRTC).
• Experience in agile product teams (Scrum) and DevOps methods.
• Ability to ensure reliability and performance of live-video infrastructure.
• On-call readiness after onboarding.
