Opportunity for a Site Supervisor ( German Speaking) to join our Life Science Team in Germany.

The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising a section of the construction site under the direction of a General Site Supervisor or Site Manager. Ensures that works are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality standards and project specifications. Coordinates Section Site Supervisors and Assistant Site Supervisors to achieve planned outcomes and maintain compliance with HSEQS requirements.

  • Supervise day-to-day activities within a designated section of the site
  • Lead Section Site Supervisors and Assistant Site Supervisors to ensure tasks are completed in line with programme and quality requirements
  • Monitor subcontractor and workforce performance to ensure compliance with contract specifications
  • Implement and maintain health, safety, environmental and quality practices within the section
  • Maintain accurate records including daily logs, inspection reports and material usage
  • Support General Site Supervisor in planning, resource allocation and prioritisation of site activities
  • Identify risks and escalates issues to General Site Supervisor or Site Manager
  • Participate in site briefings and toolbox talks to communicate site requirements
  • Mentor junior site staff and provide guidance on processes and standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote the company culture onsite.
  • Proven experience supervising construction teams on medium scale projects
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively
  • Knowledge of construction methods, trades and codes of practice relevant to the section
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with site teams and subcontractors
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure to maintain programme and quality standards
  • Organisational skills to plan, monitor and prioritise section activities
  • Understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements

Required

  • Trade or technical background with site supervision experience
  • IOSH or equivalent health and safety training
  • Temporary works and excavation safety training
  • Working at heights and scaffolding training
  • Lifting and cranage operations training
  • Other HSEQS training as required by site HSE plan
  • Awareness of BIM strategy and construction technology

Desirable

  • Completion of Sisk internal management programme
  • Project management qualification or course
  • Relevant diploma or degree in construction or engineering
