THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Slovakian Content Localisation Specialist, you will be responsible for the correct translation of fashion and lifestyle products (e.g. home, sports, accessories) and other content in compliance with our quality standards and tone of voice.

This is a hybrid position (40% office time, 60% remote), based in Berlin. We welcome applications for both full-time and 30 or 32- hours per week.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

You will translate product descriptions and campaigns’ titles from German and English into Slovakian with a distinct and consistent voice.
You will translate incoming translation requests; edit and proofread texts as needed.
You will ensure the quality of all content according to our customer needs and quality standards.
You will use your creativity in localising campaign titles
You will leverage your expertise to craft language guidelines that ensure Slovakian-localised content reaches the highest standards of quality
You will support your colleagues from the other teams and work on cross-team projects.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

You are fluent in oral and written Slovakian and you have a good knowledge of German and English. Further knowledge of French, Dutch, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Finnish, Romanian, Swedish, Danish, Latvian, Hungarian, Slovenian, Estonian or Croatian is an advantage.
Successfully completed apprenticeship; first experience with content management systems is an advantage.
You are familiar with MS Office and Google Docs and you use them in a confident manner.
You are detail-oriented, you are able to work in a very concentrated manner during high workloads and you feel responsible for the quality of your work.
You are able to work independently in a structured and conscientious way.
