Snr Commodity Manager Services

Responsibilities:

• Category Management – Supplier Life Cycle Management – Contract Management.
• Contribute your profound category knowledge in Travel, Engineering services, OR Temp Labour.
• Create spend transparency to consolidate spend across the group.
• Conduct the entire strategic sourcing process from sourcing strategy, spend and supplier analysis to negotiation and signed agreement.
• Generate continuous improvements regarding processes, system applications, products, and services.
• Train and support all departments for qualified requirements and the creation of needs-based specifications and budgets.
• Collaborate closely with buyers in our European plants and the risk management team.

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in economics, engineering, or comparable commercial/technical training.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in indirect purchasing.
• Sound technical understanding of production systems.
• Experience in organizing cross-functional European teams in a matrix organization.
• Experience in drafting contracts.
• Flexibility, negotiating skills, an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset.
• Strong presentation skills and a high degree of customer orientation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Willingness to travel on business (approx. 15-30%).
