Position: Software DeveloperLocation: Bremen, GermanyField: DefenceType: Full-time Tasks:Programming, testing and analysis of software components, primarily according to architectural specifications and/or in consultation with a Level 4 or Level 5 software developerProgramming and testing of software components, partly according to design specificationsDocumentation of the software components for which you are responsibleIntegration of software subsystems from several software components, including in the target systemTechnical management of Level 1, 2 and 3 software developersSupport with system integration Requirements:Completed master's degree in computer science or comparableSeveral years of professional experience in software developmentExperience working on large software projectsVery good programming and design skills in an object-oriented programming languageVery good written and spoken English skillsExperience in programming under Windows in C++Knowledge of development under Linux and scriptingVery good knowledge of C++Complex understanding of overall system and software architectureWillingness to travel worldwide Must-have:Many years of experience in software development in the C++ programming languageGood knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systemsExperience in sound engineering/acoustics and/or telecommunications (radio, telephony) is desirableGood knowledge of network programming, in particular RTP, RTSP, IP telephony, VoIP, multicastTherefore, please ensure that you have a degree in electrical engineering, preferably in communications engineering. Less computer science, because I would lack the necessary basic knowledge of physics and electrical engineering, unless the applicant has this through relevant professional experience.
