We are looking to strengthen the Application Development division for the Competence Center Development Cross-Sectional Systems 2, Team3062 rvEntwicklung2 as soon as possible in pay group 11 EntgO-DRV :

Software Developer Java (m / f / d)

• New and further development of applications in modern working methods and programming languages in the Linux and Windows environment
• Designing sophisticated technical concepts and analyzing functional and / or technical requirements of the application software to implement legal requirements in the areas of pensions and insurance, among others
• Advising customers on the collection and implementation of their requirements
• Carrying out quality assurance measures
• Establishing deployment processes in cooperation with IT operations
• Collaboration in project or working groups

Your qualification :

You have a bachelor's or university degree in computer science or a comparable relevant degree at level 6 of the German Qualifications Framework.

Alternatively, you have completed relevant vocational training, e.g. IT specialist for system integration or application development, and can demonstrate at least two years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field working with Java.

We would also like you to have

• Sound knowledge of application development
• Experienced with Java
• Confident handling of Jira, Bitbucket and a version control system such as Git
• Knowledge of relational database systems such as Oracle
