This is a mid-level position offering remote flexibility and the opportunity to work on forward-looking IT projects that involve modernizing legacy systems and migrating to cloud and open-source platforms. Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient JAVA-based frontend as well as Java components and Oracle PL/SQL procedures for the ETL process.Contribute to the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application modernisation and cloud migration efforts.Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle. Your profile We’re seeking someone with a strong technical foundation and a proactive mindset. You should have: Solid experience in Java development and object-oriented programming.Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL and ideally some exposure to PostgreSQL.Familiarity with IBM DataStage is a plus.Good understanding of RESTful APIs, Git, and modern development practices.Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
