Job Summary

DATAGROUP Polska Sp. z o.o. is looking for a skilled Java/Oracle Developer to support our ongoing technology refresh and migration initiatives. This is a mid-level position offering remote flexibility and the opportunity to work on forward-looking IT projects that involve modernizing legacy systems and migrating to cloud and open-source platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient JAVA-based frontend as well as Java components and Oracle PL/SQL procedures for the ETL process.
• Contribute to the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application modernisation and cloud migration efforts.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Java development and object-oriented programming.
• Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL and ideally some exposure to PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with IBM DataStage is a plus.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, Git, and modern development practices.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.

Bonus Skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – BigQuery, Astronomer, CloudSQL
• IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) – especially for ETL and DataStage migration
• Scheduling systems like Airflow or Astronomer
