Role

We are looking for Student Worker - Software and Test Development for QNX OS to join our global team with a mind for details and creative thinking. Our customers count on us to convert awesome ideas into great products and services. You will work at the heart of the most reliable and secure operating system in the world. You will gain an understanding and experience of how embedded systems are designed, how virtual machines are configured, tested and how reference software needs to adapt for customer-specific implementations.

In this role, you will

• Be an integral part of our core tools team.
• Create an environment in which various embedded hardware units can be integrated (automotive ECUs based on Renesas, Intel, Qualcomm, TI, RPI SoCs) to access them remotely.
• Find and create technical solutions in close cooperation with the team.
• Setup and update hardware and software.
• Setting up a web server (NodeRed).

You will have

• Interest in working with software and hardware.
• Interest in solving problems independently as well as in cooperation with the team.
• First knowledge in dealing with embedded hardware, target systems, remote access (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino) is a plus.
• First knowledge or experience around testing of embedded hardware or software is a plus.
• Knowledge in networking (e.g. terminal server, SSH connections).
• Knowledge of scripting language (BASH).
• English language skills (written and spoken).
