YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You build consumer‑facing software that “just works” in Java
• You are responsible for designing end‑to‑end distributed systems on the cloud
• You build libraries and tools for our microservices ecosystem
• You work on event‑driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies to help you create scalable and resilient software

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience – You have a university degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline with proven experience working in a technology environment building cloud‑native applications, ideally in dynamic and fast‑paced settings
• Language – You have extensive and advanced development experience in Java and Spring Boot
• Architecture – You have experience designing distributed systems with event‑driven microservices architectures using brokers such as Kafka, NSQ or RabbitMQ
• Platform – You are comfortable with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform as well as observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and IBM Instana to monitor and ensure system reliability
• Communication – You possess excellent communication skills and are able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across geo‑locations
