As a Software Engineer (Backend) for Custody (gn) , you will be part of the Custody team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our custody systems, which ensure the secure storage and management of digital assets. This role focuses on blockchain integrations, high security, and regulatory compliance, enabling us to meet the highest industry standards. You will design and implement robust backend solutions that integrate seamlessly with our trading and brokerage platforms, ensuring efficient and secure asset handling. By collaborating closely with various departments, you will contribute to the reliability and scalability of our digital infrastructure, helping us deliver cutting-edge custody solutions for institutional clients—such as banks, brokers, and asset managers—as well as retail clients.

As a Software Engineer (gn), you work remotely. Regular in-person meetings with your team—such as workshops and special events—strengthen the team spirit with your colleagues and are expected. Hence, this position offers you a balanced mix of flexible remote work and personal interaction at our hub(s).

Your Tasks

• Teamwork: Work as part of an agile development team and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
• API Development: Develop and maintain secure APIs and microservices
• Blockchain Integration: Integrate and maintain blockchain support
• Security Standards: Follow industry security standards, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure secure, compliant, and maintainable code

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in C# programming, knowledge of the .NET platform (.NET Core / .NET 5+ is an advantage)
• Application Design: Experience in designing, coding, and testing new applications
• Tech Knowledge: Good knowledge of microservice environments/distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, and relational databases
• Cloud Skills: Basic proficiency with AWS
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git
• Interest: Interest in the fields of trading, investing, and wealth growth
