Software Engineer C++ (all genders)

Your mission:

Join us in crafting cutting-edge engineering software that is essential for our production systems. Seamlessly integrate complex algorithms and advanced functionalities into an intuitive user experience. Address the unique demands of composite laminate designers. • Develop our ARTIST STUDIO software, including CAD (laminate design), CAM (robot offline programming & simulation), and interfaces to our machines and structural simulation (FEA) software
• Develop and improve complex algorithms (geometries/meshes, 3D data structures, transformations)
• Collaborate in conceptual discussions to shape the future of our software
• Support multi-functional R&D and customer projects
• Test software; maintain documentation and tests
• Work closely with fellow software developers and engineers from other teams

Your profile:

• University degree in informatics, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Professional programming experience in modern C++, ideally with MS Visual Studio
• Experience with git, CI, code reviews, working in agile teams
• Experience with one of the following areas would be a plus: 3D transformations and algorithms; Qt; CAD kernel (e.g., OpenCascade); industrial automation
• Good English language skills, German is a plus
• Collaborative team player with creativity and a sense of ownership
