A vacancy for a Software Development position has arisen within KID-Systeme in Buxtehude at the earliest possible start date.
For over 25 years, KID-Systeme has been a leading supplier of advanced cabin solutions to the world's largest aircraft manufacturers, including Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer. As a member of the Airbus family, we combine the stability and support of a global technology leader with the entrepreneurial autonomy, flat hierarchies, and start-up feel of a smaller company.
In Buxtehude, we work on cabin systems that create unique flight experiences. We are looking for a skilled engineer to help us build our next-generation intelligent cabin by leveraging computer vision and advanced data pipelines. Your unique challenge will be to bridge the gap between cutting-edge machine learning and the rigorous, certified world of onboard aviation software. Your work will be at the core of how we gather, process, and utilize data to create smarter, more efficient, and responsive cabin environments.
You will join an international, tight-knit community motivated by new technologies where your expertise will directly shape the future of our data-driven products. We rely on the curiosity and flexibility of our team members to innovate and redefine the flight experience of tomorrow.
As a Software Engineer for Computer Vision & Data Pipelines, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of the software that powers our intelligent cabin solutions. This includes both the onboard software capturing and processing data in real-time, and the ground-based systems for analysis, model training, and fleet-wide insights.
You will be part of an agile development team and collaborate on a daily basis with colleagues at other Airbus sites, which may require occasional travel.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
