Software Engineer – Entry to Mid Level

Role Description

The Entry to Mid-Level Software Engineer contributes to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and systems. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, this role provides hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirement analysis to deployment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong programming skills, eager to learn, and capable of delivering high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications according to project requirements and specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and design, to deliver features and enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features, modules, and enhancements.
• Assist with system integration, deployment, and version control using Git or other tools.
• Prepare technical documentation, including user guides, design notes, and testing procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and programming trends.
• Support the automation of testing, deployment, and operational tasks to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1–4 years of professional experience in software development or internships/projects for recent graduates.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with front-end or back-end development frameworks (React, Angular, , .NET, Spring Boot, etc.).
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and writing optimized queries.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or DevOps practices is a plus.
