Software Engineer - File System for Embedded Systems

Your Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance software for embedded systems
• Support the design and further development of efficient, industry-recognized products, particularly IoT modules
• Review, maintain, and optimize existing codebases
• Adapt software to meet specific customer requirements and integrate these changes into the company’s generic software platform
• Conduct performance, benchmark, and stress testing
• Prepare documentation such as user manuals and application notes

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field
• Passion for embedded computing systems and low-level software development
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers
• Several years of experience in C programming
• Basic understanding of file systems (e.g., FAT, exFAT)
• Knowledge of storage media and technologies (NOR Flash, NAND Flash, SD cards)

Ideally, you also bring

• Familiarity with embedded development tools or similar software environments
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, organized working style
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment, reliability, and an independent, proactive approach
• Curiosity for new technologies and motivation to work in a dynamic, fast-evolving environment
• Very good German and solid English language skills
