Location

Responsibilities
- Design and assessment of solutions for the simulation of sensors
- Development and evaluation of technical concepts tailored to specific training needs
- Definition and alignment of design solutions and interfaces with other teams and external suppliers
- Execution and coordination of phases in the development process of modules and sub‑systems, including system engineering, development and integration activities
- Ensuring development goals and system functionality, initiating corrective measures if needed
- Assessment and detailing of schedules and cost plans, including coordination of priorities
- Technical support in the assessment and selection of suppliers
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or engineering
- Experience across the entire software engineering lifecycle for complex systems
- Sound knowledge of:
- Software design and architecture for distributed systems
- Software development and interface definitions (C, C++, ADA 95, Python)
- V‑model based software development process
- Systems engineering (incl. tools such as DOORS)
- System integration processes
- Experience with sensors, simulation or aircraft systems is a plus
- IT literate (MS Office applications)
- Good language skills in English, both written and spoken
- Competence to work both independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams
- Ability to respond to changes in activities and priorities
- Good communication skills with the ability to operate in a multi‑cultural environment
- Experience in aligning with and coordinating various stakeholders
