Software Engineer

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions with a primary focus on Windows environments.
Engage in feature development, architecture design, and refactor existing codebases to reduce technical debt.

Collaboration and Team Engagement:
Participate actively in team meetings and code reviews, ensuring adherence to security and architectural standards.
Manage development environments and continuously improve your skills through ongoing learning.

Technical Leadership:
Contribute to the evolution and improvement of existing systems.
Maintain high standards in software architecture and security practices.

Technical and Skill Requirements:

For All Developer Roles:

• Windows Development: Proven experience in programming under and for Windows environments.
• Full-Stack Development: Strong proficiency in C/C++ and other relevant programming languages.
• Software Architecture & Design: Extensive experience with software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and maintain a continuous learning mindset.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• System Design for Security: Experience in developing and refining system architectures with a focus on encryption.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git for collaborative development.
• Continuous Improvement: A commitment to staying updated on security standards, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Team Environment:

You will be part of a dynamic and newly formed team dedicated to advancing our data protection solutions, comprising one Lead Developer, four Developers, one QA Specialist, and one Project Manager. We operate in a hybrid work environment, with an office based in Neu-Isenburg and the flexibility for remote work. This role offers significant opportunities for skill development and career growth within the field of data protection technology.

Workplace Details:

Location: Neu-Isenberg office (Hybrid).
Working Hours: Flexible, with remote work options depending on geographic location and time zone compatibility.
Travel: Generally not required, but occasional travel for on-site presence or team meetings may be necessary.
