Software Engineer - IoT for Embedded Systems

Your Responsibilities

Develop high-performance software for embedded systems
Contribute to the design and further development of efficient, industry-recognized products, particularly IoT modules
Review, maintain, and optimize existing codebases
Adapt software to meet customer-specific requirements and integrate these updates into the company’s generic software platform
Conduct performance, benchmark, and stress testing
Prepare technical documentation such as user manuals and application notes

Your Profile

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field
Passion for embedded computing systems and IoT technologies
Hands‑on experience with microcontrollers
Several years of experience in C programming
Basic knowledge of Python
Understanding of IoT protocols (IP, REST, MQTT, HTTP, CoAP)
Familiarity with cloud providers and their integration protocols

Ideally, you also bring:

Experience with embedded development tools or similar software environments
Strong analytical and structured working style
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
High level of commitment, reliability, and initiative
Curiosity for new technologies and motivation to work in a fast‑evolving environment
Very good German and solid English language skills
