We’re hiring a Java Developer to join a small, expert team building and maintaining software used by doctors, hospitals, insurers, and public institutions across Germany.

The work sits at the intersection of Java engineering, IT security, PKI, and regulated medical systems - with real-world impact and long-term stability.

Your role

You’ll join a dedicated project team working on Java-based backend systems that underpin secure medical communication in Germany.

Your Work Will Include

• Java backend development in a high-security environment
• Working with PKI, digital certificates, and trust infrastructures
• Developing and maintaining systems used in regulated medical contexts
• Collaborating closely with experienced engineers and security specialists

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Interest in IT security, cryptography, or PKI
• Willingness to work full-stack when required
• (Deep security knowledge is a plus, not a requirement)
• Fluent German (documentation and communication are in German)

A background in medical informatics, healthcare IT, or security-related systems is highly attractive but not essential.
