Your responsibilities

Partner with R&I / PLM to capture product extensions and new developments; translate them into clear functional and data specifications for implementation in the Selection Software and its database.
Maintain and continuously refine documentation of selection processes limitations and (product) configuration rules.
Data maintenance - Responsible for the entire data update process : downloading the latest data from Select PHE staging in Access format adjusting / converting as needed (e.g. Access / Excel) providing new data versions incl. pricing to the Select PHE development team (e.g. Java Developer).
Manage and control interfaces to CPQ and SAP-VC to ensure seamless integration and data consistency across all systems.
Perform review testing and UAT on development / staging systems; verify correct calculation results for selected units.
Investigate user-reported findings and bugs related to data and rules; compile fixes and propose maintenance and enhancements.
Coordinate data quality and update governance with PD (Product Development); track and resolve discrepancies using Azure DevOps work items.
Coordinate updates to reflect new products options and regional variations.
Contribute to new design / engineering calculation developments for product configuration; align with evolving Select PHE features to support selection accuracy and user workflows.
1st Level User Support : Provide frontline assistance for selection calculation and template related questions; maintain FAQs and quick guides.
User Administration : Manage user roles permissions and Admin Core Data rights for Select PHE and related tools; ensure compliance with access policies.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent specialized knowledge
Technical expertise in the areas of product configuration pricing and database management
Excellent overview of the sales configurators and CPQ systems
DevOps and agile project management knowledge
Experience in software development process
Knowledge of software and application design
Technical mindset with great attention to detail
Minimum of 2 3 years experience in product configuration and database administration
Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus
Experience with databases (e.g. Microsoft Access)
Familiarity with MS Azure DevOps and other relevant tools
Strong skills in Excel PowerPoint and Project
