TITLE: Software Engineer (Platform Team)

LOCATION: Karlsruhe or Munich (Hybrid)

CONTRACT: Full time, permanent

SENIORITY: Mid-Level or senior

SALARY: €65'000 - €90'000

COMPANY: Our client is a Series A funded Start-Up that is developing a Cloud Provider that’s deeply integrated into the development workflow. Their product transforms deployment into a developer-centric self-service experience, reducing time-to-market and costs. It eliminates the wall by enabling developers to manage their own infrastructure needs. Anything can be deployed from simple front ends to multi service production landscapes and LLMs.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals
2. Good problem-solving skills
3. Previous professional work experience in web development
4. Previous experience with SQL and JS/TS

NICE TO HAVE:

1. Fluent German
2. Experience with cloud infrastructure
3. Experience in Lit (Frontend library for building lightweight web components), Kubernetes, Docker
4. Experience in developing a public API
5. Experience in integrating billing systems
6. Experience with different authentication methods (SSO, OAuth) and permission management

MAIN TASKS:

1. You own complex features end to end, which includes planning/technical design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
2. Code and technical design reviews
3. Mentoring more junior engineers
4. You will be working on features for our collaborative developer cloud, especially on features improving the overall platform experience, like Public API, Usage History & Billing, Permission Management, Secrets Management, external CI Integrations, etc.
