Responsibilities

Define system requirements and interface specifications for automatic train control.
Integrate train control systems into our vehicles and shape product platform success.
Develop complex solutions for new and further development of metros and trains in collaboration with suppliers.
Translate legal regulations, standards, customer and market requirements into vehicle functions while keeping an eye on costs and deadlines.
Analyze requirements, structure them, and create complex control and circuit concepts.
Generate software test specifications, conduct code review, and support design verification.
Support integration tests and validation tests.
Clarify interfaces between the train control system and the vehicle and implement them with hardware and software.

Desired Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical, electronic or computer science with 8+ years of rolling stock experience.
In-depth knowledge of integration of ATS systems and/or national train control systems.
Domain knowledge of locomotive/ train control, testing, and commissioning.
At least 5 years of engineering (design) experience in TCMS.
Basic knowledge of requirement engineering.
Strong teamwork, communication and presentation skills.

Location

This role is based in Bangalore. You may be required to visit other locations within India and outside.
