Software Test Designer (m/f/d)

What you bring to the table

• You have relevant experience in test automation and software testing – ideally in the commission environment
• You are familiar with agile development methods, have a good technical understanding of test methods, techniques, and tools, and are proficient in using common test automation tools
• You have a good sense of potential challenges, are not afraid to contribute new ideas, and share these with your team and stakeholders
• You find solutions that are both pragmatic and feasible, are assertive, and able to build consensus
• You combine a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work with a high level of quality awareness and a strong focus on results
• You work in a concentrated and focused manner, whether in a team or alone
• Your openness, motivation, and proactivity enrich your team
• You have training as an IT specialist, a degree, or comparable training in the insurance industry with a high level of technical affinity

What you will be doing

• You will design tests based on technical specifications and be jointly responsible for producing the necessary documentation
• In collaboration with business analysts and developers, you will be responsible for estimating and planning test activities
• By selecting suitable test procedures, you will ensure the quality of existing software and the implementation of new technical requirements – including through exploratory testing
• You will use your expertise to support your team in analyzing error tickets
• Your work does not end at the edge of your plate—by constantly developing the test strategy and test procedure, you will maintain the existing software and build up new and necessary technical knowledge
• This includes proactive and solution-oriented communication and collaboration with colleagues at intersoft and WWK – you will also need this when coordinating technical requirements
