Amius recruitment are working with a solutions based company and they are on the lookout for a Manual Software Tester to join a growing tech team in North Rhine-Westphalia. They are looking for someone to go into the office 3 days a week in North Rhine-Westphalia.

In this role, you’ll ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of critical software products by performing hands-on testing across multiple platforms.

They have been established since 2018 and grown to 50 people within the company and are continuously growing. They are under a bigger entity with over 20,000 employees within the R&D industry which allows you to have the stability and focus on developing your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using established tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members
• Validate bug fixes and ensure high-quality releases
• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous process improvement
• Ensure testing is aligned with business requirements and technical specifications
• Provide clear reporting on test results and quality metrics

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a Manual Tester or QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills (English or German)
