Solution Design Engineer

based in Germany. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing engineering role where you will shape system concepts, design automated workflows, and translate customer needs into robust, scalable solutions.

The Role As Solution Design Engineer, you will: Develop technical concepts and system layouts for robotic, intralogistics, and automated material handling solutions. Work directly with customers to understand operational challenges, process flows, and performance requirements. Conduct site visits, system assessments, and data analysis to inform solution architecture. Produce detailed design documentation, layouts, simulations, and costed proposals. Collaborate closely with sales, project management, and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility. Support customer presentations, workshops, and technical discussions throughout the pre‑sales cycle. Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, tools, and best practices as the business scales.

About You You will thrive in this role if you bring: Experience in

solution design, system engineering, or technical pre‑sales

within robotics, intralogistics, automation, or material handling. Strong understanding of automated systems, conveyors, robotics, AS/RS, or warehouse automation technologies. Ability to translate customer requirements into clear, technically sound system concepts. Confidence in customer‑facing environments, including site visits and technical workshops. Proficiency with layout tools (AutoCAD or similar); simulation experience is a plus. Fluent German

is essential; English is highly advantageous. Willingness to travel to customer sites across Germany and Europe as needed.
