Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Senior Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. This client-facing role focuses on hands-on development of customized solutions, integrations, and prototypes to meet client needs, while collaborating closely with engineering and client success teams. You’ll work directly with clients to deploy and optimize our full stack technology landscape, including TypeScript-based backend (Hono, Node.js, Nest.js), Python (FastAPI) services, and Next.js/React frontend. As a senior engineer, you’ll apply software engineering principles to deliver scalable, client-specific implementations, with expertise in databases (SQL/NoSQL/graph), Kubernetes/AWS deployments, and AI/knowledge graph integrations. The ideal candidate is a technical powerhouse with strong communication skills, excelling at bridging engineering and client success to drive adoption and innovation.

• Hands-On Solution Development : Design, develop, and deploy customized solutions, integrations, and proofs-of-concept using our stack—TypeScript with Hono, Node.js, and Nest.js; Python with FastAPI; and Next.js, React, and web components. Tailor features to client requirements, ensuring high performance, security, and seamless user experience.
• Client-Facing Collaboration : Work directly with clients on demos, workshops, and technical consultations to identify needs and propose solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, product) to prioritize and deliver client projects.
• Software Design and Principles : Apply advanced software engineering practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns (e.g., MVC, Factory, Observer), and strategies for scalability and modularity, to create maintainable, client-optimized systems.
• Infrastructure and Deployment Support : Assist clients with Kubernetes-based deployments, including container runtimes (e.g., Docker), orchestration with ArgoCD, and AWS integrations using Terraform for IaC. Troubleshoot and optimize client environments for scaling, monitoring, and reliability.
• Database and Data Integration : Customize data solutions using general-purpose SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQLite), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB), and graph databases (e.g., Dgraph). Leverage knowledge graph approaches for efficient, client-specific data modeling, querying, and integration.
• API and AI Customization : Develop and adapt REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints for client use cases. Collaborate on AI integrations, including fine-tuned LLMs for vector search and graph-based retrieval, to enhance knowledge graph features tailored to client needs.

Your profile

• Experience : Minimum 5-8 years in solutions engineering, full stack development, or a client-facing technical role, with proven ability to deliver client projects from ideation to deployment.
• Technical Stack : Strong proficiency in TypeScript across the stack; backend experience with Hono, Node.js, Nest.js, and Python (FastAPI); frontend expertise in Next.js, React, and web components. Ability to rapidly prototype and customize solutions.
• Software Engineering Principles : Deep understanding of general software design principles (e.g., SOLID, DRY, KISS), design patterns, clean architecture, unit/integration testing, and building scalable, client-adaptable systems.
• Databases : Broad expertise in database technologies, including general-purpose SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQLite) for relational data handling; NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB); and graph databases (e.g., Dgraph) with knowledge graph approaches for semantic data modeling and client integrations.
• API Expertise : Hands-on experience developing and optimizing REST APIs and GraphQL schemas for custom client scenarios.
• DevOps and Infrastructure : Proficiency in Kubernetes (including runtimes, pods, services, and scaling), ArgoCD, AWS services, Terraform for IaC, and tools for CI/CD, logging, and monitoring to support client deployments.
• AI/ML Familiarity : Experience with LLMs, vector embeddings, graph-based retrieval, knowledge graph approaches, and adapting AI for client-specific use cases.
• Client-Facing Skills : Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities; experience in client consultations, demos, and collaborating on technical projects.
