Position Summary

MLR Associates is seeking a highly skilled Solution Engineer with deep expertise in Nokia Mediation systems to join a long‑term project in Europe. This role is critical for designing, coding, and delivering high‑quality mediation workflows and integrations that support complex telecom environments.

Detailed Job Description

As a Solution Engineer, you will work on Nokia Mediation platforms, including EventLink and Data Refinery, to develop, test, and optimise workflows and nodes. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration with third‑party systems and maintain high standards of performance and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting‑edge telecom solutions, leveraging your technical expertise in mediation systems, programming, and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver workflows, nodes, and functional tests on Nokia Mediation systems.
• Perform installation, migration, and troubleshooting of mediation platforms.
• Integrate mediation systems with third‑party applications via APIs.
• Conduct performance analysis, debugging, and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Nokia Mediation or similar mediation systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C, and Perl.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Unix environments.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with Nokia EventLink 7.x or Data Refinery 19.x.
• Knowledge of XML, scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerised environments.
• Exposure to GitHub, Jenkins, and pipeline creation.
• Understanding of telecom domain concepts and business logic tools.
