Specialist Finance Transformation – Fixed Assets (m/f/diverse)

Tasks

What you will do:

• Support the standardization of financial data and processes across Lufthansa Group companies in close cooperation with global project teams
• Contribute to building a modern, unified accounting and controlling system (SAP S/4HANA)
• Develop and maintain data standards for internal and external reporting
• Collaborate closely with Controlling, Accounting, and IT departments to ensure seamless process alignment
• Participate in the implementation of financial data standards and process mappings
• Apply business management and BI tools to design innovative solutions for complex data structures
• Act as a key contact for Group companies and central finance departments (Controlling, Tax, Accounting, Finance)
• Build and expand your professional network across the Finance Transformation program and LGBS

Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1‑2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, or Accounting
• 2‑3 years of experience in Fixed Assets accounting
• Strong communication skills in English (min. B2 level)
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems
• Experience in Finance Transformation projects will be a plus
• Knowledge of the airline business (especially aircraft assets) is an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and initiative
• German language knowledge will be an asset
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%)
