Sports Streaming Editor, Germany (HBO Max & Discovery+)

Reporting to the Director of Streaming Editorial Operations in the UK and the local Digital Manager in Germany, the Streaming Editor will be responsible for the editorialisation of sports streaming content across our premium platform HBO Max & Discovery+, managing imagery, titles and descriptions to deliver a first‑class user experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring clean and accurate titles and descriptions for German and English language sports content on HBO Max & Discovery+.
• Updating imagery on key assets as live sport progresses.
• Performing quality checks on VOD content.
• Liaising with scheduling, broadcasting and merchandising teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of editorial for live, VOD and highlight content.
• Attending weekly meetings with the Paris Scheduling Team, Broadcasting Team and Merchandising Team.
• Troubleshooting issues, raising tickets and ensuring content processes correctly.

Required skills and experience:

• A passion for editorial, learning and growth; compassionate and caring towards peers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean copy.
• Knowledge of sport is ideal; passion for sport.
• Ability to multi‑task, operate in high‑pressure environments and work confidently in a fast‑paced environment during peak sports events.
• Previous media/streaming/broadcast background required.
• Ability to speak German and English, essential.
