As Sr. Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of emerging technologies and increase adoption and market segment presence of AWS. The ideal candidate will possess a sales / account management or sales oriented consulting background. Too, the candidate has a business and technical understanding that enables to drive engagement at the board and executive level as well as with IT architect teams. The candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a strategic account plan and consistently deliver results. About the team AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Basic Qualifications - 8+ years experience in technology related sales, business development, or consulting Media and Entertainment experience and SaaS/Cloud experience - Demonstrated hunting ability to work independently and autonomously in driving projects to completion, often in an ambiguous environment - Strong verbal and written communications skills (German and English) - Willingness for regular travel activity Preferred Qualifications - A technical or educational background in engineering or computer science is a plus - Extensive customer network in the Media, Entertainment, Games or Sports industry - Certified cloud experience (e.g. AWS Cloud Practitioner) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
