Purpose of the role:
Drive global and local implementation of the Data Protection Compliance Program (DPCP), ensuring adherence to GDPR and other regulations. Act as a trusted advisor for data protection processes, risk assessments, and compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Data Protection Compliance Program across regions.
• Conduct audits, reassess new applications/processes, and perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Advise IT managers on authorization, deletion concepts, and compliance measures.
• Develop action plans, training materials, and awareness programs for data protection officers.
• Support contract negotiations and collaborate with Procurement.
• Investigate data breaches and ensure timely reporting to authorities.
• Provide guidance on global/regional compliance developments and business decisions.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree or equivalent.
• Experience: 8+ years in global data protection compliance, strong knowledge of GDPR.
• Skills: Strategic planning, stakeholder management, risk analysis, IT security basics, project management.
• Competencies: Ability to influence without direct authority, independent work, strong advisory skills.
• Language skills: Good to have German fluency, English must have.
