Role Overview

• Position: Engineering Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote
• Commitment: Part‑time ~20 hours/week (potential to extend to 40 hours/week)
• Duration: 1–2 months
• Join an exciting collaboration with a top AI research lab. Contribute to developing and evaluating advanced AI systems replicating real‑world workflows in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Create and assess complex problems in engineering across subdomains such as civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, materials, and systems engineering.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, technical rigor, and domain relevance.
• Provide clear written feedback on engineering problem sets, designs, and solutions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate and improve model performance.
• Ensure technical accuracy and academic precision in all engineering content used to train or evaluate AI systems.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

Engagement Details

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($65–$80 USD/hr)
• Contract type: Independent contractor
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous – flexible working hours
• Payment: Daily payment via Stripe Connect
