Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Staff Product Analyst — (Logistics, Help Center) to join our Product Analytics team and spearhead the data strategy for our Logistics Help Center (support application for customers, riders and vendors). In this role, you will move beyond simple reporting to shape the future of our product through rigorous hypothesis testing and by converting massive datasets into high-impact strategic narratives.

The Logistics Help Center is where we ensure an amazing delivery and post-order experience for customers, riders, and vendors globally. Embedded directly within the Service Product Line, our Analytics team fosters a "data-first" culture that drives tangible change in product development.

Why this role is exciting: As a Staff Analyst, you will tackle some of the industry’s most cutting‑edge challenges: automating customer support at scale. You will drive initiatives focused on cost‑efficient chatbot interfaces, intent recognition, and automated problem resolution. Furthermore, you will play a key role in developing predictive models designed to optimize voucher and compensation issuance – all while balancing customer satisfaction with financial efficiency.

You will operate across multiple squads and domains, partnering with leaders in Product, Tech, Operations and Data to define the strategic direction of analytics for the entire tribe. This is your opportunity to leverage deep technical expertise to champion innovation and influence how Delivery Hero shapes the future of local delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the North Star: Develop and refine product metrics and leading indicators that accurately reflect product health, customer satisfaction, and business viability.
  • Influence Roadmap: Use quantitative analysis to look beyond the numbers, providing insights that empower Product Managers and Engineers to decide what to build and why, and to guide the Performance team on how to localise solutions in the most efficient way.
  • Drive Experimentation: Guide the team on methodology, design, interpretation, and decision‑making of dozens of A/B tests we run every quarter, ensuring we only ship impactful features.

Technical Excellence & Scalability

  • Build for Scale: Drive the development of scalable analytics infrastructure and self‑service capabilities, ensuring data quality and accessibility across the organization.
  • Advanced Modeling: Collaborate on predictive models (e.g., voucher optimization) to automate decision‑making and improve unit economics.

Mentorship & Culture

  • Elevate the Team: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge‑sharing, rigorous peer review, and technical excellence.
  • Evangelize Data: Act as a quality gatekeeper and champion a data‑driven mindset across the Product and Tech teams.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role, preferably within fast‑paced tech environments or marketplaces.
  • Experimentation: Deep understanding of A/B test design and edge cases, causal inference, and statistical analysis.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate abstract business goals into concrete analytics roadmaps. You understand the "business of the product."
  • Technical Mastery:
    • Expert‑level SQL skills with practical experience on large‑scale data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
    • Solid Python skills for complex analytics, automation, and data visualisation.
  • Data Workflow Curation: Proven ability to design, build, and optimise data pipelines. You take ownership of data curation to ensure that all business decisions are based on a foundation of reliable, high‑quality data.
  • Visualization: Proven track record of building actionable data‑stories and dashboards (Tableau, Looker, or similar) that drive business decisions.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience mentoring junior analysts and leading high‑impact projects with autonomy. You can influence stakeholders without formal authority.

Benefits & Perks

  • Hybrid working model with 2 days a week at our beautiful Berlin campus.
  • 27 days holiday with an extra day on the 2nd and 3rd year of service.
  • 1,000 € educational budget, language courses, parental support and access to Udemy Business platform.
  • Health and wellness: health checkups, meditation, gym & bicycle subsidy.
  • Employee Share Purchase Plan, Sabbatical Bank, public transportation ticket discount, life & accident insurance, corporate pension plan.
  • Digital meal vouchers, food vouchers, corporate discounts.
