Statistician | Up to $80/hr Rate

A Mathematics/Statistics Expert position as a hourly contractor at Mercor, a leading AI research partner. The role is remote, for a duration of 1–2 months, with commitment of 4–6 tasks per week.

Compensation

$60–$80 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop challenging problems in Mathematics and Statistics to enhance AI model training.
• Evaluate the quality and depth of AI-generated content to improve model outputs.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to refine training data and methodologies.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure high-quality data creation for future AI innovations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics/Statistics.
• Undergraduate degree from US/UK/Canada/Western Europe.
• Graduate degree from a top US/UK/Canada/Western European university.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English.

Start Date
