Introduction

For Hamburg Headquarters, we are recruiting a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) in indirect procurement. You will ensure the professional procurement of non-trade goods and services, guaranteeing supply security, availability, and adherence to deadlines at an optimal price-performance ratio. Your main focus will be on managing categories such as General Services and Personnel Services (P&C).

Your responsibilities include:

• Purchasing external specialists and services, consulting, training, coaching, and general services
• Identifying independent processing concerning TCO
• Preparing tenders, evaluating offers, and negotiating national and international contracts with partners
• Serving as a point of contact for departments and locations, providing advice and communication, and maintaining a stable procurement network while considering risk management
• Optimizing supplier structure and developing purchasing strategies, concepts, and measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency

Preferred profile:

• A degree in economics or a solid commercial education with relevant procurement experience
• Several years of experience in procuring non-trade goods and services, especially Personnel Services (HR) and General Services
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Confident, assertive, and socially competent to interact effectively with various stakeholders
