As a

Strategic Buyer , you will take full ownership of key MRO categories and steer procurement for our German plants. From high-impact negotiations to long-term supplier strategies, you will play a central role in ensuring cost efficiency, supply security, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end sourcing processes — from tender to contract signature Develop and execute category strategies that drive savings and business growth Conduct market and cost analyses to identify the best supplier solutions Negotiate competitive, sustainable contracts with key suppliers Strengthen supplier relationships and manage performance through KPIs Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and project teams Optimize P2P processes, supplier consolidation, and inventory strategies Support plant operations in maintenance, turnarounds, and critical equipment sourcing

About You: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar Solid experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in MRO Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset Experience in cost analysis and contract management SAP and MS Office proficiency Background in plant environments (pumps, rotating equipment, maintenance) is a plus Structured, independent working style with strong stakeholder management skills Fluent German and English
