We supply our customers with 100% green energy and climate performance.**Department:**The Energy Procurement and Law division is responsible for procurement and risk management for energy with a focus on electricity within Deutsche Telekom. The team develops long-term procurement strategies and optimizes the portfolio with OTC and spot transactions, as well as PPAs for renewable energies. The team performs the role of balance group manager and has economic responsibility for the integration of large storage systems to reduce electricity costs. The division combines energy industry expertise with economic expertise and ensures an economic, sustainable and predictable energy supply within the Group through close cooperation with Legal.As a strategic energy buyer (m/f/d), you take on a central strategic task in the team. They procure 2 TWh of electricity per year, negotiate long-term PPA contracts and further develop our procurement and portfolio mix strategy. They optimize the use of large cross-market storage systems and thus realize economic benefits from flexibility.
