Since 2020, Pliant has been on a mission to rethink credit cards and empower companies to grow by providing a smart way to pay that scales with their business. With our app and API-based solutions, Pliant allows companies to issue physical and virtual credit cards, automate payment processes, track spending, and seamlessly integrate these data into their finance stack. Our unique go-to-market approach is complemented by our Card-as-a-Service offering. We provide market-leading companies like Commerzbank, MobilExpense, Circula, and Candis with the infrastructure to build their own white-labeled or fully embedded credit card offering.

Pliant is growing quickly. With our expansion into 30 international markets, we believe that people, passion, and diversity are the key ingredients to our future success. Our growing team of 200+ Plianteers come from 35 nationalities and work remotely or in a hybrid environment from our headquarters in the heart of Berlin. And we’re looking for more talented and committed people to join us on our journey!

We are currently looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager (m/f/d) to join our team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects with new partners, encompassing the entire process from initial scoping to Go-Live and post-launch support.
  • Build and manage a high-impact partner network that supports our growth across markets and customer segments
  • Create scalable partner playbooks, enablement materials, and incentive models to activate and accelerate partner performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal) to align partnership strategies with our go-to-market approach
  • Monitor partner performance and work with partners to continuously optimize collaboration
  • Represent Pliant at industry events, partner meetings, and ecosystem initiatives to expand our reach and visibility

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • A strong understanding of B2B sales, business development, or partnership ecosystems — ideally in a fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startup environment
  • 3+ years of experience in Strategic Partnerships, Sales, Business Development, or a similar client-facing role
  • Experience working with or building partner-led go-to-market models (e.g. indirect sales, white-label, embedded finance, referral programs)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — you can engage with both operational teams and C-level stakeholders
  • A structured and proactive approach to building processes, managing stakeholders, and delivering impact
  • You speak English fluently; German or additional European languages are a plus
  • Ideally Berlin-based or open to working in a hybrid setup
