As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will drive high-value sourcing projects, optimize supplier relationships, and contribute to delivering cost-efficient and compliant High Voltage Substations for renewable energy systems in Europe. What you will do:

• Support the Category Leader in developing procurement strategies
• Conduct supplier analysis and market research for informed decisions
• Assist with contract negotiations and supplier relationship management
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities within the category
• Manage sourcing projects aligned with strategic goals
• Track and report supplier performance and compliance
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and risk management practices
• Prepare and analyze procurement data for strategic insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders on category requirements and initiatives
• Support demand forecasting and planning within the category

What you bring & who you are:

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
• Certifications in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous
• Practical experience in managing sourcing projects and supplier negotiations
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of procurement policies and risk management
• Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
• Effective communicator and negotiator with strong relationship‑building skills
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven with a focus on value creation
• Proficient in English; German is an advantage; additional language skills are beneficial
