Strategic Purchaser - DE - Braunschweig

Key Responsibilities

• Contract and purchasing negotiations in accordance to guidelines from the Global Sourcing team, lead role in contract and purchasing negotiations
• Manage and develop supplier base, performance and relationships and execute/support supplier selection/rationalization process
• Gather and analyze spending and supplier data, execute benchmarking and provide data to the relevant functions
• Ensure local actions align with the global sourcing strategy while working hand‑in‑hand with the Global Sourcing team
• Ensure sourcing objectives and targets on quality, lead times, and costs are met in own area of responsibility
• Create and update agreements with suppliers, maintain master data in relevant parts
• Analyze future supply demand in cooperation with respective functions and stakeholders
• Support non‑conformity/warranty process management in escalated issues
• Secure compliance with supply management processes/procedures, strategies, and agreements

Critical Skills & Qualifications

• Min. 5 years’ experience in strategic purchasing in electronics area
• Hands‑on mentality, keen to learn and develop yourself, applying out‑of‑the‑box thinking
• Sufficient fluent business English and German
• Clear and transparent and trustworthy way of working
• Clear and straight‑to‑the‑point communication
• Building networks capability
• Experienced in common SAP transactions and standard processes in procurement
• Willingness to travel approx. 25 %
