As a Strategic Services Sourcing Manager , you will take the lead in managing negotiations and developing strong business relationships with external Service Supplier companies on behalf of Agilent’s customers . You will be responsible for building effective and profitable agreements, transforming broad concepts into a structured Strategic Services Supplier Management Program. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the solution design of local and multi-partner projects , where Agilent partners with Service Supplier companies to deliver complex, high-impact customer solutions. Your strategic mindset and ability to navigate multifaceted partnerships will be essential to driving value and innovation across our service sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Managing relationships with Service Providers and Contractors in Germany on behalf of our customers.
• Ensuring legal compliance and alignment with regional sourcing strategies.
• Evaluating supplier performance and leading selection and negotiation processes to improve service levels and margins.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers by having a customer first mindest
• Supporting the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and supplier programs.
• Handling supplier documentation, contracts, and data within your territory.
• Collaborating with Service Sales, Project Managers, and Customer Contact Center to maintain accurate supplier information.
• Ensuring strong cooperation with local Service Managers.
• Traveling up to 10% as required.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of service business operations, including delivery and supplier management, with the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• 2 – 4 years of hands-on experience in service management.
• Familiarity with service provider business models; laboratory experience is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills to drive results and meet objectives
• fluent in German and English

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
