Stress Engineer (m/w/d) – Job Code: 30925

Your tasks:

• Independent supervision of development projects in the field of aircraft seat development with regard to strength while adhering to the time and budget specifications.
• Creation of FE models in Ansys Workbench for static simulation.
• Evaluation as well as documentation of calculation results and presentation internally within the framework of project team meetings.
• Development of improvement measures for weight reduction as well as for compliance with the various aviation law requirements.

Your qualification:

• Completed studies in mechanical, civil, aerospace engineering or comparable fields.
• Relevant professional experience in this field and knowledge in the use of Ansys Workbench.
• In-depth knowledge of FEM and engineering mechanics.
• Basic knowledge of the design of aeronautical components.
• Knowledge of Ncode and Matlab (desirable).
• Good written and spoken English.
• Analytical thinking and high ability to work in a team.
