Job Details

Noise characterization requires complicated lab setups. The project progresses toward an on‑chip monitoring circuit, working with simplified characterization setups. The intern will contribute to the design, simulation, and verification of analog monitoring circuits, including schematic entry and analog SPICE simulations. The role provides hands‑on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s student in Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • Bachelor’s degree completed
  • Background in semiconductor devices and/or circuit design
  • Experience with electrical characterization techniques
  • Proficiency in SPICE simulation tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of thermal effects in semiconductor devices
  • Familiarity with advanced transistor technologies (FinFET, Gate All Around FET)
  • Experience with AC‑DC mixed methods or pulsed measurement techniques
  • Understanding of circuit modeling and simulation
