How you can support us:

As part of the final thesis, a possible solution is to be developed in the form of a specification sheet and the following questions are to be addressed:

1. Which IT systems are suitable for the centralised maintenance of machine capabilities with a focus on cross-divisional data maintenance?
2. What information is managed centrally via an IT system or decentrally via the production machines with regard to machine capability and the current configuration?
3. Can the configurability of a machine still be guaranteed in the event of a failure of the central IT system?

What you should bring along:

• Degree in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mathematics or similar
• Basic knowledge of software development 
• Good understanding of physical relationships
