Operating across 20+ countries on four continents, and employing more than 10,000 people, SICIM specializes in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) services. Its mission is to support clients in building sustainable infrastructures and plants and advancing the energy transition.

The Subcontract Administrator manages mainly the subcontracts lifecycle, in accordance to company’s standards and procedures, from subcontracts execution phase up to the close out phase, focusing in particular on change order management, performance monitoring & evaluation, risk mitigation, and on the contract close-out process. She/He ensures that all subcontracts are within budget, in accordance with the agreed schedule, and in compliance with quality & safety standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify and validate progress reports, payment certificates and related invoices.
  • Subcontracts administration activities such as, but not limited to, variations & change orders, retainages, back-charges, claims, etc.
  • Sound understanding and interpretation of contractual terms.
  • Ensuring effective compliance with the agreed terms, especially compliance with all set deliverables (e.g., bonds/bank guarantees, insurances, etc.).
  • Preparation and management of contractual correspondence and notifications.
  • Monitor and control of all performances against budget, schedule, quality, and all other key terms and obligations agreed between the parties.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  • Liaise with all internal stakeholders as Finance, HSE, Legal, Operation, etc.
  • Management of claims and disputes, as well as liaise with the legal department in case of potential arbitration processes.
  • Management of the close out phase (final acceptance, close-out/termination agreements, survival obligations, etc.).
  • Regular update of all project logs and registers.
  • Preparation and regular update of all required KPIs, if any.

Requirements

  • Experience on pipeline construction.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the role.
