Supervisor Transportation/Logistics (f/m/d)

This position is located on‑site in Baierbrunn (Munich). You will lead a team of logistics specialists and align transportation and distribution plans with supply‑chain forecasts and material availability. The role includes optimizing logistics planning parameters within our ERP/TMS systems to ensure efficient material flow and timely product delivery.

Key Tasks

• Supervise, train, and develop a team of logistics specialists to ensure efficient operations.
• Optimize transportation modes and carrier relationships to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
• Oversee shipment scheduling, tracking, and resolution of any transportation issues.
• Ensure strict compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations, including customs and hazardous materials.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement and implement new efficiencies.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in transportation/logistics, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven proficiency with logistics software (TMS, WMS) and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to coach, develop, and mentor a team.
• In‑depth knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Fluent in German and English.
