Major Duties

You will: Provide expert advisory, consulting, reviewing, and coordinating services for the Agency's budget execution and control activities. Advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with staff from EPA program offices, other federal agencies, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Congressional Appropriations Committee staffs to resolve resource management problems and answer budget execution questions. Manage staff activities to analyze new budgetary areas which reflect new initiatives, regulations, legislation, and executive orders to determine the need for changes in management of the budget.
