Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize supply chain operations for our medical technology business in Southern Germany. The role will oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality medical devices while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure seamless supply of medical devices.
• Lead supplier management, including selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high service levels.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in all supply chain processes, including adherence to ISO 13485 and MDR requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage relations with logistics providers, contract manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization to meet business and customer needs.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in medical technology, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management.
• Experience managing suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and contract manufacturers.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to medical devices (ISO 13485, MDR, GMP).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and German.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and supply chain software is an advantage.
