Your mission
The Supply Chain Specialist plays a key role in ensuring efficient and compliant supply chain operations across all stages. This position focuses on maintaining process integrity, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring full traceability and documentation accuracy in line with ISO 13485 standards. Working cross-functionally with Finance, Quality Management, and Logistics, the role contributes to operational excellence and regulatory compliance in a dynamic medical device environment.
Operations
- Participate in training on supply chain processes, equipment handling, documentation, and quality requirements (including ISO 13485 standards).
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor supply chain operations from procurement through to delivery.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of documentation (digital and physical), particularly in Excel and Word.
- Perform goods receipt in accordance with established procedures, including verification of production records, completeness, and product quality; document deviations and segregate non-conforming batches.
- Carry out light manufacturing tasks (e.g., labeling, inserting instructions for use, shrink wrapping).
- Support warehouse operations (e.g., receiving, storing, picking, inventory counting, and packaging of medical devices).
- Prepare customer orders, including picking, verification, packing, and shipment documentation.
- Ensure proper batch segregation within the warehouse to prevent mix-ups.
- Collaborate closely with the Quality Management team to maintain and improve quality standards.
Documentation & Accuracy Control
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth import processes and proper documentation.
- Maintain customer and supplier invoices with a high level of accuracy, including all supporting documentation (end-to-end).
- Update and maintain data daily in the ERP system (Kingdee), ensuring accuracy and completeness.li>
- Keep purchase and sales order records up to date through timely system updates.
- Perform label verification and ensure full product traceability through accurate record-keeping.
- Support the Quality Control team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly ISO 13485 for medical devices.
Your profile
- Work experience and know-how in supply chain operations, production, and quality control.
- Bachelor’s degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain.
- Ability to manually carry out processes reliably and with high quality.
- Careful handling of precious goods/medical devices (light goods < 1 kg) and larger packages up to 20 kg.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel are highly required.
- Strong teamwork skills for smooth cooperation with co-workers and supervisors.
- High commitment and responsibility in handling medical devices (packed hip and knee implants).
- Knowledge of Chinese language is a plus.
