.My client, a leader in the engineering sector who are at the forefront of developing innovative electronic solutions are currently expanding their team and urgently require three Senior Systems Engineers with expertise in battery storage systems to drive the growth of their cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Specification: Develop low and medium voltage substations and distribution networks for large-scale battery storage systems integrated with the grid.
System Integration: Lead the development and integration of primary and secondary electrical technologies, ensuring optimal performance.
Efficiency & Scalability: Focus on modular and standardized solutions to drive efficiency, adaptability, and long-term scalability.
Supplier Management: Oversee external suppliers and ensure configurations meet project specifications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between engineering, sales, and project management to ensure alignment of technical and commercial goals.
Industry Leadership: Represent the company as an expert, collaborating with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, engineering consultancies, and contractors.
Maintenance Strategy: Develop strategic approaches to streamline the upkeep and servicing of low and medium voltage infrastructure.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all technical guidelines, procedural documentation, and regulatory records are fully updated and in compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in power systems and grid integration.
Strong expertise in one or more of the following: containerised battery storage solutions, LV/MV switchgear technology, or battery inverters.
In-depth knowledge of European regulations and standards (VDE) for battery storage systems in grid applications.
Fluency in English is required.
